Bags have been very popular in the quilters' world for many years. We thought this reason enough to grant them a category of their own within Projects.
It wouldn’t be exaggerated to call Germany a football (soccer) crazy country. When there is a major tournament, such as World or European Championships, social intercourse seems to stop for the duration. It is no longer possible to meet with friends or to get seats in your favourite Biergarten unless it doesn’t have a huge screen for the football fans to glue their eyes to.

It appears that everybody nowadays possesses a “smart phone”, a term which we actually find slightly ridiculous. If phones start to be smart, we ask ourselves where this leaves mankind. In spite of this, Quilt around the World also owns one of these gadgets because one of us thought that being able to access the internet would be absolutely vital for the protagonists behind an online magazine. ;-) Guess who doesn’t manage to get the thing online... ;-)))

Felt is a great material. It is easy to work with, the edges don’t fray, it is durable and, provided its thick enough, shock absorbent. In short: a great choice to make covers for sensitive electronic equipment. Felt also comes in great varieties of colour and quality. There is the really cheap variety sold in craft shops.
