Quilt aficionados from the all over the world have a virtual creative meeting in my humble Black Forrest village. I invited friends to a private quilt block view in my garden which made my grey fence gleam in summer freshness.
The warning motifs of "Autumnal Transience", "Solitary of Creation in Moonlight" and the "Fast Pace of the Barrage of Images" of our daily lives found attentive viewers. Suddenly, a peek across my garden fence seemed worth the effort: My village of rural farmers, the dark and calm background of the Black Forrest heights, the lively valley of the river Kinzig with its simple houses beneath the fortress again seem enchanting and inviting.
It is well worth looking across the garden fence!
